Accounting/Finance - Accountant Corporate Accounts & Projects (Kris+) (2 Years Contract)
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for Kris+ Pte. Ltd., including timely close and reporting to SIA, regulatory/MAS reporting, audit coordination, and supporting business initiatives relating to the payment programme. The role supports process improvement and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain a full set of accounts, ensuring completeness, accuracy and proper supporting documentation.
- Prepare and submit monthly flash and actual results to SIA in accordance with stipulated timelines.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cost monitoring activities, including analysis and commentary.
- Support and contribute to automation, standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
- Support periodic reviews of processes and controls to ensure robust governance and compliance.
- Work closely with the loyalty programme business unit to support the roll-out of new initiatives on the payment programme, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment and reporting readiness.
- Prepare quarterly Board papers for submission to the Board.
- Prepare/review quarterly and annual MAS reports/surveys.
- Work with the Tax department on GST and corporate tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate finance inputs.
- Liaise with external auditors for the annual statutory audit and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
- Prepare annual financial statements and supporting schedules, coordinating with auditors to meet reporting deadlines.
- Respond to internal audit queries and support follow-up actions/remediation.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in financial reporting and/or full set of accounts.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting (e.g. MAS) and audit coordination will be an advantage.
- Meticulous and strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Team player who can also work independently, manage timelines, and handle multiple priorities.
