Accounting/Finance - Accountant/Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager Engineering Finance

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the engineering finance department.

Key Responsibilities 

• Timely payment of Engineering Division account payables, receivables, fixed costs forecasting, budgeting & control
• Passenger and Freighter Aircraft Variable Costs Forecasting and Budgeting, and Capital Expenditure Forecasting, Budgeting & Control
• Asset Accounting (Spares, Capitalised Maintenance costs)
• Perform month end closing, prepare monthly schedules, timely and accurate accrual of expenses for the purpose of monthly reporting.
• Freight Invoice Verification and monitoring and clearance of suspense accounts
• Withholding Tax Reporting and Interested Party Transaction (IPT) Coordinator
• Scribe of Finance Meetings
• System enhancement/ implementation

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Commerce or Business Administration.
• Meticulous.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Effective communications and problem solving skills.
• Project management skills.
• Must be a team player.
