Accounting/Finance - Associate Cargo Revenue Accounting

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of Finance Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with Business Units (i.e. mainly Cargo Division and stations) to ensure that all cargo revenue proration exceptions are resolved on a timely basis with compliance to revenue recognition standards 
• Manage and support the outsourced vendor in the rate audit of interline Airwaybills (AWBs) and cargo revenue proration exceptions handling functions and to conduct regular quality control checks on these functions
• Handle all queries and issues relating to mishandled/returned shipments and to follow-up with stations to ensure timeliness in cost recoveries and resolving revenue leakage
• Collaborate with IT vendor for resolution of issues and support testing efforts for fixes/enhancements relating to interline rate audit and cargo revenue proration function 
• Compute the accrual for expenses for block space arrangement in profit and loss account
• Prepare and review the audit trail reports from various master tables
  Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma, preferably with 1 to 2 years of accounting experience.
• Fresh diploma holders with no experience are welcome as well
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good communication skills
