Accounting/Finance - Associate Passenger Sales Accounting

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Passenger Sales Accounting Department in Finance Division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconciliation of the various Passenger Sales’ clearance accounts within the targets set, to investigate and clear sales and refunds related pending errors; as part of the internal controls, to identify sales anomalies and ticketing errors, liaise with stations and/or other stakeholders to resolve such issues timely
• Ensure accuracy of the sales accounting entries generated by the International Passenger Revenue Accounting system
• Address queries from stations, outsourced vendor, and customer servicing teams to resolve issues pertaining to Pax Sales' operational matters
• Monitor document submission (i.e. invoices, credit notes etc) from stations and ensure timely and complete dispatch to the outsourced vendor. Highlight and follow up with stations on any delay or incomplete submissions
• Work closely with the revenue control and interline billing teams, attend to and resolve issues promptly
• Monitor and manage the passenger sales related work done by outsourced vendor to ensure that targets are met. This includes conducting quality control checks on the passenger sales related work done by outsourced vendor to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks
• Guide the outsourced vendor in the reconciliation and clearance of Passenger Sales’ suspense accounts
• Assist in project implementation and User Acceptance Testing
• Assist in the timely completion of the Control Self-Assessment exercises

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance; Fresh diploma graduates are welcome to apply
• Able to work independently, collaboratively and under tight deadlines
• Adaptable to changes and a problem solver 
• Good inter-personal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of SAP will be advantageous
