Assistant Manager Talent Management

Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Talent Management and Development, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative talent management programs that align with the company's strategic objectives. As a strategic partner to senior leadership, you will drive the development and execution of talent management policies, pipelines, and career pathing frameworks.


Key responsibilities

  • Oversee talent review, assessment, succession planning, development, and competency frameworks.
  • Design and implement progressive talent management policies and processes to support business needs and succession planning.
  • Develop and manage assessment and development programs for high-potential employees.
  • Ensure the effective implementation, communication, and integration of talent management processes across the organization.
  • Enhance tools and processes for talent review, including the identification of high-potential talent, critical positions, and development plans.
  • Manage post-talent review processes to ensure follow-through on action items.
  • Oversee pipeline programs, such as scholarships and overseas management schemes.
  • Manage talent development programs, including mentorship initiatives.
  • Analyze talent data to inform fact-based decision-making.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on key talent metrics.
  • Coach and guide employees on their career and development goals.
  • Facilitate internal staffing for career growth and development.


Requirements

  • Possess a University Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Talent Management, preferably in a business or COE context.
  • Familiarity with talent assessment and development tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare reports and proposals.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with senior leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on coaching.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors is a plus.
