Associate Crew Scheduling

Job Description

 

The successful candidate will be part of the Flight Services and Fuel Efficiency Department, under the Total Mission Management (TMM) Division. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Ensure all flights are manned adequately with the appropriate Technical Crew complement whilst observing all rules and regulations.
  • Ensure that changes to crew duty periods and crew operating patterns caused by flight delays or disruptions do not infringe on statutory requirements and the Collective Agreement.
  • Ensure the best re-crewing option to minimise any flight delays during flight or crewing disruptions.
  • Perform daily submissions and validity checking of the APP (Advanced Passenger Processing) for every positioning and operating crew, as well as manually sending the APIS (Advanced Passenger Information System) when necessary.
  • Notify technical crew of changes to their roster or flight retime/ delay, and answer their queries.
  • Support Technical Crew operations using the CMX system.
  • Manage the Technical Crew training administrative matters using the MINT system.
  • Support e-ticketing for technical crew positioning.  
  • Any other duties as assigned by the department.

 

Requirements

  • Diploma in any discipline.
  • Aviation related qualifications will be advantageous.
  • Relevant aviation and/or airline operations experience will be advantageous.
  • Candidates without relevant experience will be considered.
  • Analytical with good problem-solving skills. 
  • Good situational awareness, ability to focus and prioritise time sensitive tasks.
  • Meticulous and able to execute procedures accurately.
  • Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment. A strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • IT proficient, comfortable working with operational, technical documentation and procedures.
  • Comfortable working with multiple applications.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
