Cargo - Associate/ Senior Associate Cargo Hub Operations & Unit Load Device (ULD) Management

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible in supporting Cargo Hub Operations management. This role will involve generating reports, perform data analytics and trend analysis as well as preparation of meeting materials for Senior Management. Candidate will also be involved in digital product development and develop insights/use case studies to optimize and improve efficiency of our air cargo business. 

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the operational elements of the hub network ops to ensure that the operations are run in the most effective, safe and cost-efficient manner to meet contractual and handling requirements while ensuring compliance to policies, procedures & regulatory requirements.
• Performance monitoring of our Ground Handling Agents (GHA )to ensure ops KPIs are met and timely submission of reports.
• 1st level problem/conflict resolution between GHA, Stations, and internal Business Units
• Maintain mishandling record by region and category specific.
• Timely escalation of issues to GHA management for resolution if required.
• Ensure timely collation of information in preparation for the Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly management meetings.
• Prepare and attend weekly operations meeting with GHA Business Units
• Coordination and updates of Hub performance tracking initiatives/projects
• Complete any other duties as assigned to meet team objectives.
• Work with other stakeholders on partnerships & joint initiatives to co-drive Cargo Hub Excellence
• Other possible projects:
  - Part of cross-functional teams to conceptualise & implement new initiatives that will strengthen Cargo Business Resilience, Organizational Excellence and People Development

Requirements

• A Diploma in Aviation Management, Logistics, or related field is required.
• Experience and training in data analytics, design thinking, simulation studies and Agile methodology are preferred
• A technology-savvy team player with a go-getter, outcome-driven and collaborative mindset
• Strong conceptual thinking, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent work ethics, rational, resourceful, able to multi-task and influence desired outcomes
• Conversant with Microsoft Office software - MS-Excel (include macro, pivot etc.), Tableau is advantageous
