Cargo - Executive Cargo Quality and Systems

Job Description

The Executive is expected to monitor, investigate, support and facilitate the activities of our line stations to achieve a premier level of cargo handling and service to our customers system-wide. He/ She shall be responsible for the implementation of load control systems and centralised load control procedures for the freighter fleets and audits on the centralised load control processes. 

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Ground Systems for Cargo Operations 

  • Implementation of ground systems such as Altea FM (Mobile & JFE) etc.
  • Monitor system messaging and data quality between SIA Cargo systems and service partners and providers.
  • Implementation, monitoring and audit of Centralised Load Control (CLC) operations for Freighter Fleets.
  • System user admin for Altea FM (Freighter) cargo users 

 

2. Monitoring for mishandlings and cargo handling irregularities 

  • Investigate and recommend corrective/preventative measures
  • Review with stations on recurring mishandlings and irregularities to develop action plan to reduce occurrences.

 

3. CLC, regulatory and line station audits

  • Follow up with CLC and stations on service performance improvements
  • Follow up with CLC and stations to implement corrective/preventative measures
  • Assist in the preparation for regulatory audits e.g. CAAS/IOSA
  • Assist in the preparation for industry standards’ compliance audits, .g. IATA CEIV

 

4. Enterprise Information Management (EIM) Data Representative for Cargo Ops Data.


5. Conduct pharmaceutical and perishable cargo audits.


6. Administrative and project duties as assigned, which includes 

  • Conferences
  • Events
  • Ad hoc projects/studies
  • Coordination for system activities affecting operations


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a university
  • Experience in air transport operations 
  • Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Quality mindset and able to develop and validate procedures 
  • Team player and able to interact well with various stakeholders
  • Good communication skills – written, oral and active listening
