Cargo - Executive/ Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager Cargo Planning & Development

Job Description

The candidate will be an Integrated Cargo Management System (ICMS) product value evangelist and is responsible to liaise, manage and represent stakeholders’ requirements for ICMS as well as perform the gamut of responsibilities required of a Product Owner and the ICMS Team.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Product Management

  • To have an overview of ICMS and manage system-related incidents and minimise the impacts to various stakeholders together with the Scrum Master.
  • Active involvement in the planning and endorsement of product roadmap, end-to-end product vision and strategy, initiatives and change request prioritization with inputs from System Custodian and stakeholders.
  • Support the ICMS Team in the definition and planning of product increment/release versions as well as rollout.
  • Identify and coordinate with various business user tower and region representatives on any items [Change Requests (CRs), incidents, configuration changes, etc] that will impact their business functions or processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and elicit product requirements, create user stories and raise CRs.
  • Define product iterations and prioritise features and enhancements to maximise value.
  • Coordinate product development, CRs, and the prioritisation of backlogs with the ICMS Team.
  • Oversee the development stages of each iteration and be a key player throughout each event, including planning, sprint, review, retrospective, and refinement.
  • Manage quality and set clear acceptance criteria for product features and releases in consultation with System Custodian.
  • Liaise with the vendor to ensure stakeholders’ requirements and issues are captured, represented, and addressed.
  • Work closely with the ICMS Team to manage timelines and cross-functional dependencies.

 

2. Communications

  • Be an ICMS advocate and champion change management and the use of ICMS.
  • Communicate product vision, business requirements and clear priorities to stakeholders and vendors.
  • Keep System Custodian & stakeholders updated on any developments regarding ICMS.

 

3. Stakeholder Management

  • Be the bridge and understand stakeholders’ work processes, functionalities, and requirements.
  • Facilitate stakeholders in evaluating vendors’ solutions and doing fit/gap analysis with stakeholders.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritise their requirements/ stories, including features & epics definition.
  • Liaise with the ICMS team and stakeholders on interdependencies between their work processes and functionalities with regard to ICMS.
  • Collect, collate, and incorporate stakeholders’ feedback for subsequent releases.

 

4. User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Work with stakeholders to plan, define, and design test scenarios to be included for UAT.
  • Plan, conduct and execute UAT together with the ICMS Team, stakeholders, and users.

5. ICMS Administrative Functions

  • Support the System Custodian and ICMS Team in the planning and management of the ICMS budget.
  • Assist the ICMS Team in the management of the ICMS budget, which includes the verification of ICMS-related invoices.
  • Work with SIA Corporate Learning Centre (CLC) to develop ICMS training materials and programmes for new users.
  • Manage, maintain, and update the ICMS Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Business Risk Assessment Document (BRAD).
  • Assist the ICMS Team with vendor management which includes arrangements for vendors’ onsite visits.
  • Assist System Custodian in assigned tasks and responsibilities.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a university
  • 1-2 years’ experience in project management and implementation
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skill – written and oral
  • Strong coordination skill
  • Ability to work on non-routine problems
  • Ability to work in a team and with people at different levels
  • Ability to manage own time & priority accordingly
  • Possess good knowledge of the scrum framework as well as other Agile frameworks.
