Cargo - Executive/ Senior Executive/ Asst. Manager Cargo Marketing & Airline Partnerships
Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of Cargo Division, Cargo Sales & Marketing Department. He/She is to sharpen the overall competitiveness of our commercial activities; manage the partnerships and relationships with other airlines from a corporate perspective and support the marketing efforts of the sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth on Sales Distribution platforms and oversee the design and implementation of middleware platforms to ensure seamless integration across enterprise systems.
- Develop and grow commercial collaborations with interline partners to enhance network connectivity and channel cargo traffic through the Singapore Hub.
- Establish and refresh Interline Traffic Agreements (ITA). Cultivate strategic partnerships through Special Prorate Agreements (SPA) and Blocked Space Agreements to optimize cargo flow and revenue. Lead contract negotiations on commercial terms and manage contractual processes by liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategic interests.
- Compile and validate monthly interline cargo data across partner carriers to track shipment volumes, revenue contributions, and route utilisation.
- Spearhead the development of the department’s budget, ensuring alignment with corporate financial guidelines.
- Development of strategic and tactical marketing materials to promote the airline's network, products and services. Collaborate with regional teams to align station efforts with corporate objectives, ensuring cohesive execution of strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Possess a University Bachelor’s Degree, with one to two years experience in Marketing/Sales/Operations
- Entry level candidates with a university degree in the relevant field will be considered as well
- Strong marketing knowledge and understanding of the local cargo market, supply chain management and logistics
- Good communication with strong conceptual thinking, problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills
- Tech savvy and collaborative team player. Highly motivated individual
- Able to perform under stress with tight timeline, good time management
- Project management and change management ability
