Cargo Revenue Planning Analyst

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of Cargo Division, Cargo Commercial Planning Department. He/She will ensure the successful implementation of Revenue Management System (RMS) and optimise the route profitability for the entire SIA Cargo global network through sales steering, dynamic pricing and by allocating network capacity to stations with the aim of optimising the company's network revenue. The decision made by him/her will have a direct and immediate impact on the revenue and profitability of the Company.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Cargo Revenue Management System (RMS) by reviewing user requirements, defining business processes, and liaising with vendors and stakeholders. Oversee UAT and verify system functionalities and interfaces. Track project milestones and timelines.
  • Optimise network revenue and profitability by developing strategies for dynamic space management and pricing. 
  • Review capacity, set flight allocation and rate guidelines, analyse market data, and leverage system solutions to maximise profit.
  • Support sales steering initiatives and monitor market demands.
  • Conduct route review and analysis by monitoring flight performance and coordinating yield and capacity adjustments.
  • Review space and rate utilisation through post-flight analysis to ensure optimal space usage, manage allocation, and monitor yield trends. Adjust strategies for underperforming flights as needed.
  • Drive directed selling by guiding sales offices using data analysis, identifying business opportunities, setting targets, providing guidelines, reviewing action plans, and monitoring KPIs to enhance network revenue.
  • Provide departmental administration support including, risk management, BCP activities, crisis management participation, support staff management, training material preparation, and cross-divisional/external project involvement.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Knowledge of the airfreight industry/revenue management/data analysis preferred
  • Strong analytical & planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure/make quick and sound decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Good people management skills.
