Cargo - Senior Executive/Asst Manager E-Commerce Logistics (Business Development)
Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of Cargo Division, Digital & E-Commerce Logistics department (Commercial). We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team to develop Parxl product and contribute to Parxl sales and revenue. This role focuses on actively seeking new opportunities and driving sales growth, building strategic partnerships, and enhancing customer relationships to support the expansion of our logistics services. Key Responsibilities
Business Development (Sales)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and prospects in the focus markets through research, networking, cold calling, and various outreach strategies.
- Manage sales pipeline of qualified customers, conducting cold calls, outreach, etc to initiate conversations with prospective customers and convert to new accounts for Parxl.
- Monitor, track, and analyse key competitors’ strategies, offerings and promotions to stay ahead of industry development
- Conduct sales presentations and participate in RFQ to convert qualified leads
- Lead negotiations and close deals with new and existing customers, ensuring that contracts align with company objectives and operational capabilities.
- Support marketing efforts to promote Parxl solutions to target customers, including participation in industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
- Ensure and coordinate smooth on-boarding of customers / key accounts (i.e. including but not limited to system integrations, operations, etc.)
- Regular monitoring of key customer accounts and performance to drive revenue growth
- To be the liaison person and advisor to overseas Parxl sales
- Support overseas stations to pitch for new Parxl customers - Develop measurable metrics to track and review customer and overseas stations sales performance
- Manage and service customer accounts relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Contribute and work with internal teams to enhance Parxl offerings and improve values to customers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field
- At least 2 years’ experience in E-commerce logistics industry, supply chain, or e-commerce sectors are preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business data and market trends.
- Able to multi-task and respond quickly and effectively to the challenges faced in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and work effectively as part of a team.
- Positive energy and attitude.
- IT savvy
