Engineering - Associate Repair Management

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the repair management, strategic sourcing department in SIA Engineering Division. He/She will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all repair processes, from sourcing of repair sites, defining repair work scope, raising repair orders to coordinating repair logistics and ensuring timely completion. This role acts as a central communication hub, liaising with customers, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to maintain a smooth and efficient repair cycle.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing of possible repair sites (adhering to CAAS Advisory Circular 145-3).
  • Define repair work scope and ensure compliance to regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor status of Repair Order/Purchase Order created for timely return of spares.
  • Monitor vendor response on query pertaining to shipping & estimated date of delivery of spares.
  • Maintain SAP records of component repairs for engines and landing gears.
  • Take part in the utilization of new technologies to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
  • Support the Executives in the day-to-day operations and projects.


Requirements

  • Preferably to be familiar with SAP
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of products, especially Excel e.g. able to use pivot table to perform trending and analysis and to prepare power point material  
  • Be able to engage with vendors and line engineers on the shop floor directly
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be motivated, driven and be a team player and also be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to work under pressure
