Engineering - Technical Services Engineer (Quality)

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Technical Services department in SIA Engineering Division. You will get to work on different areas relating to SIA Fleet of aircraft, including operations, performance improvements, analysis as well as troubleshooting of defects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and review of policies associated with airworthiness and safety related processes
  • Perform quality functions in accordance with set policies
  • Develop, Oversee and Perform ISO 9001 Quality Management System audits
  • Formulate and review policies pertaining to the Control of Airworthiness Directives (AD) for SQ aircraft
  • Compile data and generating reports relating to fleet operations and reliability studies
  • Conduct and Provide support to internal and external audits on aviation engineering activities

 

Requirements

  • Possess at least a University Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
  • Be able to work independently and also a good team member. Since the job requires interaction with various user departments, good interpersonal skills will be necessary
  • Be able to analyze, diagnose a problem and provide an effective solution
  • Familiar with Air Navigation Regulations, ISO standards and framework is an added advantage 
  • Meticulous, objective and resourceful
  • Effective communications and writing skills
  • Conversant with standard IT applications such as M/S Office, SAP, etc
