Executive / Senior Executive Design & Development
Job Description
We are looking for someone who is creative and detail-oriented to join our team, and to focus on the design and development of SilverKris Lounges and inflight amenities. This role will play a critical part in enhancing the end-to-end customer experience by delivering high-quality, innovative, and functional lounges and amenities that align with our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Development
- Conceptualize, design, and develop SilverKris Lounges (SKLs) and/or inflight amenities.
- Ensure projects meet desirability, viability and feasibility criteria.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to bring concepts to life.
Project Management
- Manage multiple projects from concept through to production and delivery.
- Develop and adhere to project timelines, ensuring milestones are met.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including properties, procurement, operations and other BUs to ensure cohesive and comprehensive project execution.
Market Research and Trends
- Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies.
- Perform competitive analysis and identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Monitor and evaluate product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, specifications, and project progress.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management.
Other Projects
- Involvement in strategic projects to evaluate policies and commercials related to SKLs and inflight amenities
Eligibility
All internal candidates (Ground Staff and Non-Ground Staff) will have to meet the Requirements of the role listed below to be considered.
For Ground Executives:
- Non-Specialists: Minimum 2 years in current role.
- Specialists: Minimum 2 years in current role and minimum 5 years in current function.
- If you are successful, this will be a lateral transfer.
For Ground Associates:
- Minimum of 1 year in current position.
- Do not have any existing bond in current position.
- If you are successful, you will be offered Executive employment terms.
For Non-Ground Staff:
- Subject to meeting the requirements below.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in product design and development, preferably within the airline or hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with design standards and procurement processes.
- Experience working with international suppliers and manufacturers.
