Partnerships Associate
Job Description
Join our Partnerships & International Relations team and play a vital role in expanding our network and revenue through interline partnerships. This role involves maintaining accurate SPA records, providing data support, and supporting the team's efforts to develop and optimize our interline relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Carrier development
- Lead relationship manager for portfolio airlines - handle all aspects of the SQ relationship with the partner airline, including written communication, meetings, calls and other interactions.
- Propose practical strategies to manage and develop airline relationships to reporting exec, manager or VP as required.
- Oversee and execute airline specific projects to grow volume of interline benefits from the airline.
- Analyse and negotiate special prorates, and engage internally with stakeholders (including NRM, pricing, other PIR staff) to assess impact of proposals on SQ (both in terms of benefit as well as costs) and prepare agreements.
SPA Administration
- Administer access rights to the SPADL summaries repository.
- Draft and distribute SPADL email summaries for new and extended SPAs.
- Manage and respond to inquiries in the SPADL inbox, providing timely and informative support.
- Stay informed about relevant IATA circulars and industry developments related to carrier partnerships.
Data Management & Analysis:
- Maintain the quarterly Prorate Factors (PF) database.
- Generate monthly reports on system yield segments and interline carrier usage billing.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports on interline/SQ flown passengers, yield, and schedule capacity using tools like Diio-Mi in support of the department.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in projects focused on improving productivity and streamlining workflows within the department.
- Provide efficient administrative support to the Partnerships & International Relations team.
- Responsible for maintaining partnerships toolkit for PIR and supporting department.
- Work with Partnerships Execs/Mgrs to engage with legal and other departments to oversee updates to partnership toolkit as required.
- Any other duties assigned
Requirements
- Diploma in any discipline OR a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as an Associate.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain, update, and manage databases and information systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to interpret data and learn new systems.
- Attention to detail in handling and preparing data and reports.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), including advanced formulas and tools (e.g., LookUp formulas, Pivot tables).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
