Procurement - Associate / Senior Associate (Purchasing)

Job Description

 

The successful candidate will be part of Procurement Department in Corporate Planning Division. He/She will raise Purchase Orders for goods & services, liaise with suppliers for timely delivery, and manage potential stock gap arising from supply chain disruptions. He/She will look after quality management of goods.  He/She will also support procurement executives/managers to ensure proper reporting of purchasing and quality management activities, and to assist in the digitalization/ improvement projects.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform stock replenishment of goods by placing Purchase Orders (PO) to suppliers
  • Monitor fulfilment of deliveries from suppliers
  • Liaison with suppliers on delivery matters, including delivery adjustments and liquidated damages
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to manage potential stock gap situations caused by supply chain disruptions
  • Handle quality management of goods, and related liaison with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Support the reporting of Purchasing activities
  • Support digital initiatives and business process redesign projects

 

Requirements

  • Diploma in any discipline with keen interest in supply chain management
  • Organised and analytical

  • Process oriented & outcome driven
  • Basic SAP Corp MM knowledge is an advantage
  • Working knowledge in digital tools such as Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Sharepoint, and PowerPoint
