Procurement - Associate/Snr Associate Procurement (Services and Technology)

Job Description

 

The successful candidate will be part of Procurement (Services & technology) team and will report to Senior Manager Procurement (Services and Technology). As a Procurement Associate (Services and Technology), the candidate will play a critical role in supporting procurement executives to review and optimize procurement processes and to introduce and implement best practices, ensuring the procurement operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with industry standards. The successful candidate will also be a key member of the team responsible for master data governance, contributing to the integrity and accuracy of master data. This role requires someone with a keen interest in process review and optimization, coupled with strong data crunching and analytical skills to derive actionable insights that drive decision-making and process improvements. The candidate should be well-versed in SAP S4/Hana and have a good understanding of key master data concepts, such as material master, service master, vendor master, and enterprise structure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Support executives in reviewing and optimizing procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Best Practices Implementation: Introduce and implement procurement best practices, ensuring that our procurement operations adhere to industry standards and deliver maximum value.
  • Master Data Governance: Collaborate with the master data governance team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of procurement-related data. Understand and manage key master data concepts such as material master, service master, vendor master, and enterprise structure.
  • SAP S4/Hana: Utilize SAP S4/Hana to generate reports to monitor the KPIs and to support data-driven decision making process
  • Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis and support data-crunching activities to derive actionable insights that inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain procurement-related reports, providing clear and concise information to stakeholders.
  • Process Documentation: Refresh and update the procurement process map regularly. Prepare comprehensive documentation and training materials for new processes and tools.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in procurement to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in identifying and implementing process improvements. Support the development of strategies to address any identified gaps or inefficiencies.

 

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
  • Prior experience in procurement, with a comprehensive understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with key master data concepts such as material master, service master, vendor master, and enterprise structure.
  • Prior experience in data analytics, with the ability to analyze large data sets and derive insights.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • A problem-solving mindset with an ability to think critically and identify opportunities for improvement.
