Revenue Technology Analyst (Data)

Job Description

The successful candidate will support data-driven decision making across the organization. The ideal candidate is strong in SQL and Tableau, comfortable working with large datasets, and has a degree in Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.

 

He/she will work closely with business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights, build dashboards, and support performance tracking and analysis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
  • Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources using SQL and other tools.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Support business teams with ad-hoc data queries and analytical requests.
  • Develop and maintain KPI and performance tracking reports.
  • Document data definitions, business logic, and reporting methodologies.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across reports and dashboards.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Technical Skills (Hard Skills)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and aggregating large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau (or similar BI tools) for dashboard and report development.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and ETL concepts.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, basic automation).
  • Comfort with basic statistical concepts (distributions, correlation, hypothesis testing, regression at a basic level).
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data cleaning and validation.
  • Nice-to-Have (Optional) Technical Skills
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).

  • Ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and clear outputs.
  • Good communication skills; able to explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn new tools and techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience
  • 0–5 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role (internships are acceptable for junior candidates).
  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards and using data to address business problems (portfolio or examples are a plus).
