Safety, Security, and Quality - Associate Security Support

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Security Support department in SIA’s Safety, Security, and Quality Division.

 

Responsibilities
1) Regulatory Compliance
- Become the Subject Matter Expert of the Security Management System (SeMS)
- Engage vendors (Cargo, Ground Handling & Security) and guide them on the implementation of SeMS for SIA’s operations. 
- Administration and communication for special assignments

 

2) Security Policies and Governance 
- Assist in duties for Security Intelligence
- Assist in duties for Security Training

 

3) Finance and Administration Support
- Department Administration (document custody, administrative matters, mail room duties, email inbox housekeeping, fixed asset management) 
- Provide administrative support for Division Management and security outposts
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure that requests are fulfilled


Requirements
- Diploma in any discipline
- Knowledge of airline operations is preferred but not essential
- Good writing skills and procurement/contract management experience will be advantageous
- Excellent judgment, well-organised and discretion in dealing with sensitive topics
- Strong team player with analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to work with people and exhibit emotional intelligence
