Safety & Emergency Procedures (SEP) Instructor

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Saftey Training Department within Flight Opeartions Division.

 

Key responsibilities

1.    Conduct SEP courses for Pilots and Cabin Crew of SIA and any other operator as decided by the Company.
2.    Conduct Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) courses for Pilots and Cabin Crew of SIA and any other operator as decided by the Company.
3.    Prepare SEP and DGR training materials, training aids, assessment forms and test questionnaires.
4.    Perform any other duties as required.

 

Requirements

  • Interested applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a crew member or previous experience as a safety training instructor. The experience should be acquired within the last 5 years from the date of application. 
  • Applicants must have a good command of spoken/written English and have excellent presentation skills. Applicants with training and checking experience preferred. 
  • Applicants should also have the required competencies in demonstrating and conducting physical activities like slide jumping, jumping into a swimming pool, boarding of a slide-raft from the pool and firefighting. Applicants must be prepared to perform any other duties as assigned.

 


Additional Requirement for shortlisted candidates during interview:

  • Conduct a 5-minute presentation on an aviation-related topic (preferably a SEP-related topic)
    A room with an instructor / facilitator station (with a PC connected to a projector) will be provided.
