Safety/Security/Quality - Executive/Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager Quality Assurance

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Quality Assurance Department within Safety, Security and Quality Division. He/She will be instrumental in ensuring that our operations are conducted in accordance with established procedures that are based on regulatory requirements, company procedures and operational safe practices. He/She will work closely with various divisions within SIA and its subsidiaries to assure that audit procedures are properly carried out, improve processes and manage risks for continuous improvement, and actively engage the divisions to raise quality standards for a strong quality culture. 


Key responsibilities 

  • Promulgate Quality Assurance policies for the company.
  • Conduct internal quality and safety audits to ensure that internal processes are in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Manage and coordinate certification and regulatory audits on SIA with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Work closely with  SIA Operational Divisions to identify risks, area of operational concerns and postulations for data analytics.
  • Promote Quality Assurance by actively engaging SIA Operational Divisions to inculcate a quality mindset and raise quality standards to build a strong quality culture through Newsletters, Newsbites and Articles via various company platforms.
  • Continual evaluation and monitoring of partner airlines’ Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure safety and quality standards are met and maintained.
  • Liaison with external parties and internal stakeholders on auditor training and qualification programmes.
  • Manage Quality and Safety projects and initiatives.

 

Requirements

  • A degree in any discipline
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance and/ or previous auditing experience is preferred.
  • Experience and/ or knowledge in Aviation is not required but would be advantageous.  
  • Strong inter-personal skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Good planning and analytical skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technologically Savvy.
  • Ability to work independently.
