Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager Premises Security

Job Description

The successful candidate will join Security Department, Safety, Security and Quality Division. He/She will provide professional oversight in Premises Security both in Singapore and at overseas stations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a systematic physical security and access control policy that governs all SIA premises in Singapore and at overseas stations.
• Oversee and manage vendors delivering guard force services and security systems, including the administration of staff identification, visitor passes, and temporary access passes.
• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, statutory, and corporate requirements relating to premises security.
• Support operational security requirements, which can involve activation at irregular hours depending on operational exigencies or when necessary.
• Lead and execute sourcing and procurement activities in accordance with company policies, governance standards, and established procedures.
• Drive security-related projects with a solution-oriented approach, including risk assessment, timeline planning, budget management, and execution oversight.
• Demonstrate leadership and readiness for deployment at events requiring security coverage.
• Oversee security project implementation details, including verification of invoices and completed works to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

• A degree in any discipline.  
• Relevant experience and knowledge in physical security, access control, premises security, or security operations, preferably in a corporate or multi-site environment.
• Exposure to sourcing and procurement processes, with an understanding of corporate governance and compliance requirements.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across departments and with overseas stations.
