Senior Executive / Executive Flight Operations Safety Training

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Flight Operations Training & Standards department.  He/She will lead “instructor teams” to develop and implement effective training programmes in consultation with CAAS and Unions, as well as develop Safety Training as a leading training organization for Safety & Emergency Procedures (SEP), Dangerous Goods and First Aid.

 

Key Responsibilities 

•    Develop and implement the curriculum for Introduction, Aircraft Type and Recurrent Safety & Emergency Procedures (SEP) training programmes.
•    Maintain training standards of SEP Instructors and Examiners, to meet the Air Navigation Regulations of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.
•    Continuously maintain and improve training standards to meet Company objectives, Regulatory expectations and trainee expectations.
•    Explore the implementation of established and emerging learning technologies for the team.
•    Conduct SEP and Dangerous Goods Regulations courses for Pilots, Cabin Crew and any other operator as determined by the Company.
•    Demonstrate and conduct physical activities such as slide jumping, swimming pool jumping, boarding of a slide-raft from the pool and firefighting.

 

Requirements

•    Possess a university bachelor’s degree, preferable in a technology discipline.
•    Excellent oral and written communication.
•    Interpersonal awareness.
•    Analytical / critical thinking skills.
•    Technology expertise to adopt and implement learning technologies (e.g. use of e-learning tools to develop content, adopt use of Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality tools to enhance learning experience).
•    Result orientated and able to work independently as well as in a team.
