Senior Executive/Assistant Manager Culture And Engagement
Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of the Culture & Engagement (C&E) team, under Human Resources Division. He/she will lead company-wide initiatives that strengthen organisational culture and employee experience across Singapore Airlines. The team partners subject matter experts and senior leaders to drive engagement through organisational surveys, change management communications, and programmes focused on innovation, well-being, diversity & inclusion, and social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of major employee engagement and milestone events events across Singapore Airlines and the SIA Group (e.g. opening of the New Singapore Airlines Corporate Office & SIA’s 80th Anniversary Celebrations).
- Manage staff recognition and festive events (e.g. long-service awards, retirement ceremonies, Lunar New Year celebrations).
- Coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) related events involving beneficiaries, caretakers, industry partners and donors with empathy and service orientation.
- Manage procurement and appointment of event vendors and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage Organisational Climate and Pulse Surveys by coordinating with internal stakeholders and appointed vendors on survey preparation, dataset management, and publication.
- Analyse survey results and support development of corporate action plans, including tracking and reporting progress of implementation.
- Drive employee wellness, social and team-bonding activities that support SIA as a “Great Place to Be”
- Partner with stakeholders (e.g. SIA Group Sports Club) to encourage staff participation in sports and non-sports activities.
- Manage budgets and verify invoices related to engagement activities.
- Manage internal communication content, cadence, and tacticals to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and sufficiency
Requirements
- Possess a University Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 3 years working experience in a communications role, employee engagement role, or event planning role.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, for example Excel pivot table functions, is required.
- Intermediate proficiency with creative content development tools, for example, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, is required.
- Excellent business writing, analytical, and presentation skills – for stakeholder management.
- Collaborates well in Teams – extensive coordination required with internal business units, stakeholders, and external suppliers / vendors / event organisers / beneficiary organisations.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills – to independently evaluate, analyse, and propose solutions for business and operational challenges.
- Possess positive customer-oriented service mindset – for engagement of employees and/or beneficiaries.
- Adept at managing and navigating complexity and ambiguity.
