Senior Executive/Assistant Manager Culture And Engagement

Job Description

The Culture and Engagement (C&E) team under Human Resources Division oversees and supports strategic, company-wide initiatives that foster a better work culture that enables our colleagues around the world to collaborate, innovate, learn, and grow. As connectors and enablers, C&E members work closely with subject matter experts and senior leaders to build culture and enhance employee experience – from administering organisational climate surveys to leading change management and communications for workplace transformation to curating a wide array of experiences centred around innovation, well-being, diversity and inclusion, and social impact.

 

Key Responsibilities

Communications

  • Lead content development for flagship initiatives and special projects, including but not limited to, developing proposal decks, key messages, talking points, and/or FAQs
  • Develop communication plan and toolkit for employee-focused campaigns/events to raise awareness and/or drive participation, such as Innovation and Agility enterprise campaign and SIA Group Sports and Wellness Day
  • Own the C&E editorial calendar and develop people-focused stories to foster a stronger sense of connectedness and belonging
  • Contribute to the development of our Annual Report and Sustainability Report, with a focus on collating and editing content related to HR topics
  • Manage key digital/physical communication channels, e.g., web, mobile, offline, word-of-mouth, to drive effective employee engagement


Experience, Event, and Programme Management

  • Conceptualise, plan, develop, and support marquee experiences to improve employee engagement and cross-collaboration. Experiences include Global Wellness Week, International Women’s Day, and SIA’s Global CSR Week
  • Organise experiences that commemorate key moments throughout the employee lifecycle, such as long-service award and retirement ceremonies
  • Support the development of organisational climate and pulse surveys, not limiting to, preparing data reports and insights analysis, liaising with divisional stakeholders on action plans and progress updates
  • Manage departmental budget, swag inventory, and other assets


Requirements

  • Possess a University Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrable passion in advancing work culture, wellness, D&I, social impact agenda.
  • At least 3 years of experience with a global organisation, with a focus on employee communications and engagement
  • Extensive experience in writing, reviewing, and editing content as the team is looking for a strong writer to elevate their capability through impactful storytelling
  • Experience in providing strategic counsel to stakeholders on written, visual, and interpersonal communications and engagement
  • Solid event/programme planning and execution skills, with proven ability to independently coordinate and manage events/projects, big and small
  • Strong sense of ownership, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
  • Experience in managing ambiguity and the ability to perform under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Proficiency in visual design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere would be an advantage
  • Experience in working within HR with a good understanding of the body of work, such as compensation and benefits, industrial relations, talent management and organisational development, talent recruitment, and employer branding
