Senior Executive/Assistant Manager HR Shared Services
Job Description
The successful candidate will join the HR Shared Service Centre (1HRSC) under the Employee Services Department of Human Resources Division.
Key Responsibilities
One-stop service for employees / business units
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of HR Shared Service Centre (1HRSC) to ensure deliverables and service levels are met
- Develop work plans that specify key accountabilities, performance indicators and expected outcomes of success in guiding 1HRSC teams
- Apply leading industry practices in re-engineering end-to-end processes to achieve continual improvement in operational efficiency, reduce cycle time and create value for employees
- Leverage data and technology tools to enable automation of administrative and transactional activities for scalability and sustainability while not compromising on service excellence
- Engage with HRBPs, employees and union leadership to provide insight and support into their requirements
- Foster teamwork and coach 1HRSC teams to deliver first line support to HRBPs and employees
HR operations
- Oversee and ensure operational efficiency, accuracy and timeliness in administrating employee matters, e.g. payments, contracts, appointments, departures, and leave management
- Keep abreast of local regulations, company policies and union collective agreements; ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of HR management system to support operations
- Perform statistical analysis and reporting for senior management / local government agencies
- Participate and/or lead any other ad-hoc projects/tasks as and when required
Requirements
- Possess a university Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business or related field
- Domain knowledge in HR management systems, e,g. SuccessFactors, Workday
- Expertise in HR shared services / service centre operations with indepth knowledge of industry best practices
- Experience in working with project teams using Lean/Six Sigma principles to create business change using enabling technologies
- Analytical, meticulous, detail-oriented with strong numerical competency
- Able to work independently and in a high-stress environment with dynamic timelines and priorities
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent communication and written skills to manage diverse range of stakeholders
- Familiarity with local labour legislation/TAFEP would be an advantage
