Senior Executive/Assistant Manager Singapore Airlines Foundation

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the newly established Singapore Airlines Foundation. The Foundation aims to create meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of individuals and communities in need and contribute to the growth of Singapore’s aviation industry through its programmes. He/She will be part of a team to drive the development and growth of the Singapore Airlines Foundation in line with its vision and mission.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Support the design and execution of SIA Foundation's strategic roadmap including environmental scan and landscape survey to identify potential gaps
  • Develop and implement pilot programmes and establish a steady pipeline of potential programmes that are aligned with the objectives, priorities and policies of the Foundation and SIA’s values
  • Monitor approved programmes and projects to ensure the desired outcomes have been met, ensuring programme reports are produced and submitted in a timely manner, managing the disbursements of programme grants to ensure compliance with governance and legal regulations
  • Engage and build relationships with various stakeholders, including business units, potential partners, community members, grantees and policymakers to secure support for the Foundation’s initiatives.
  • Plan and prepare the Foundation’s operating budget, track expenses and prepare relevant reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop and manage the Foundation’s corporate website and the production of marketing collateral including content development and creation of visual assets. Coordinate with SIA’s Public Affairs & Brand Marketing Units to establish a strong band reputation for the Foundation.
  • Support other day-to-day activities related to Foundation’s operations

 

Requirements 

  • Possess a University Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 6 to 8 years of experience in a similar role in a foundation setup or in a non-profit organisation and in stakeholder management
  • Familiarity with the aviation industry is a plus
  • Strong critical thinking & analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Independent and self-starter
  • Resilient and able to handle ambiguity
