This position plays a key role in supporting the design, administration, and timely delivery of employee benefits programs. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in managing benefits processes, while contributing to fair and competitive practices that enhance employee well being and satisfaction. By maintaining high standards in benefits management and aligning offerings with organizational goals, the role supports talent attraction and retention, fosters engagement, and contributes to the wider success of the company.
Responsibilities
Benefits Management

Manage and deliver employee benefits programs (medical, insurance, flexible benefits, wellness) across all employee groups.

Partner with brokers and vendors to provide cost‑effective plans and a smooth employee experience.

Monitor usage, costs, and feedback to recommend enhancements that keep our benefits competitive and relevant.

Lead annual benefits reviews and renewals, including proposals, negotiations, and implementation.

Be the go‑to person for employee and union queries on all medical and insurance benefits.

Support operational processes such as invoice management and system improvements, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Champion digital tools and AI-driven analytics to improve benefits administration, reporting accuracy, and employee self-service.
Compensation Management

Assist with contract bonus administration, and pay adjustments.

Contribute to compensation activities such as salary surveys, benchmarking, and data analysis to ensure fair and competitive practices.

Support governance of compensation policies by preparing reports, ensuring consistency, and aligning practices with company standards.
Recognition & Total Rewards Projects

Lead incentives and wellbeing initiatives such as Long Service awards.

Administer welfare programs such as Holiday Subsidies, Bursary awards.

Drive digitalization and AI adoption projects to modernize Total Rewards delivery.

Partner with Total Rewards teammates to lead operational excellence and change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and employee buy-in.
Requirements

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits, with a strong focus on Benefits Management; prior exposure in a unionized environment is preferred. Experience in the aviation or engineering industry will be an advantage.

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related discipline.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.

High attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset, and proven capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Resourceful and adaptable, able to multitask and respond promptly to employee queries.

Independent and self-driven, with the ability to manage work priorities effectively.

Familiarity with HR systems such as SAP and SuccessFactors will be an added advantage.

Demonstrated ability to embrace technology, AI, and digital tools to improve HR processes.
Applicants may be placed in the position of Assistant Manager or Senior Executive depending on experience and qualifications.
